quote: his treatment of a soldier suffering from PTSD was at the top of the controversy over him.
That was an excellent thing that he did. That soldier was stinking up that place of honor.

I agree with bushsupporter... wow, never thought I'd say that... Patton was an incredible military mind, he understood the importance of dicipline in the functioning of a military unit. His campaigns were very successful and German Field Marshal Gerd von Rundstedt as well as Joseph Stalin are reported to have commented on Patton's prowess as a military commander. He was controversial though, his treatment of a soldier suffering from PTSD was at the top of the controversy over him.

Right, because a tuna can conquer the Pacific with no help from any Allies. Read a book, or better yet, read American Ceaser

Macarthur had the brains and skill of a can of tuna, the man was also the single greatest braggart of the modern era (also and incredibly accompished liar, look up the Phillipine Army he supposedly "trained")

I am forced to disagree with Bushsupporter. General MacArthur was the greatest military mind of all time. He was the master of the Pacific and did so with no help from Europe or Russia. He single handidly forced emperial Japan back to its island. So I guess we will agree to disagree Bushsupporter. In an effort of civility and in an attempt to set an example I say that stop arguing about these two generals and come to the consensus that General Washingto (General of the Contintal Army that defeated Britain) is quite possibly the greatest General of all time.
