You see the problem does not lie within words or weapons, but with either the author of these words or the receptive person who may hear these words.

You wrote a verse that could have passed for a second grade basic understanding of what poetry is...yet you still felt the need to explain it to us. People need brains before you can all go bugger off and start a bloody "war of words" you got it, I got it, but if the masses don't get it, you're out of luck. I post stuff here because I get fairly decent responses. Most people in the outside world are too stupid so I don't bother talking about issues.

However, I really don't think the boards here help humanity. XD

That is precisely why I love this web site. In normal conversation I cannot discuss my views on many of the topics presented here because I feel rushed and pressured to answer. Here, I feel as though I have time to collect my thoughts, organize them, and actually figure out how I feel. I was actually unaware of my opinion on gay marriage and civil unions until I had the opportunity to discuss it here.

Once everyone actually understands their own views they will have a chance to try to understand the views of others.

Through discussion comes peace.

i agree with you. we are a part of the generation that can solve almost anything by writing what we believe and spreading it around. there are flaws in this, of course, because so many in our time aren't comfortable enough to say what they truly believe, and they fear other's opinions of their works. if there is a way to resolve that part of it then we will be unstoppable, but for now, we are merely kids who have their own ideas.

i'm with u. our words and our abilities ARE our strength. we need to use them for what is right.
