I know alot about being homeless and scared of what will come next, Why? because I am homeless, lonely, and scared.I became that at the age of 15, kick of my parents home because I was with child. I had no place to go, I fit in nowhere and still dont, I am stiill struuugleing to find work and a home of my own. So I dont understand how any body can say there in such thing in america, that is bull, I am one of the many, loney, forgotten homeless people on this land called america.I dont understand it myself. I find and found that people of america do not care at all.Saying, just gey a job is easier said than done. Places will not employ you if you have no address,no phone,no family.

It's terrible to watch someone that you care about destroying their life through a Valium addiction, but by performing an addiction intervention you may be able to help them recover. Together, we work with those close to the Valium addict to help plan effective interventions in Vermont and throughout the USA. A professional intervention could be the very best thing you ever do for an addict... so let us help make it work! Why not call us now for free to see how we can help Drug Treatment Program

You'd think that with all of the money our government spends on all sorts of crazy items (ahem, explosives) that we could afford a better solution. Homelessness has been around since this country's inception, and I don't see it going away any time soon.
Realistically, what are our options? No one should have to live on the street. And the shelters are for the most part dangerous.

I understand what you mean (assuming i read your 'english' correctly) but how does US citizenship make someone more worthy of our help? We should help the people in our country, and so should the government, but that is no reason to completely disregard the needs of children in other nations. I think that people, in general, need to be more generous. If more people helped out, then their wouldn't be so many people needing help. Also, the government needs to help its own citizens. In the last decade our government has 'misplaced' more money than I will ever see in my life, but they cannot find some cash to feed their hungry citizens. I'm not suggesting socialism here, but some kind of conscientious spending would be great. Where I live, the city approved the building of a dog-park. A big park that will cost money to build, protect, and maintain. This money could have gone to help the hundreds of homeless people living on the streets and under bridges. I guess I want the government to spend more money on worthier causes, and I want people to help anyone who needs it, not just US citizens... why would the right to food, water, and shelter stop at the US border?

Perhaps not exactly like that. But he did grossly underestimate the number of homeless veterans.

life is hard, but you can't give up. There are shelters and places that you can go. People will help you. You should blame America as a whole. Its not every persons fault. Alot of people care. If they didnt we wouldn't have Charitys or places for homeless to go. Life is hard, but if you keep working at it God will help you find a way. =). i am always here if you want to talk you can im me. or send me a message. i am new to this site so i don't know exactly how it works yet. Grace&Peace be with you.

first i must say i sympathize with you. i know how THE STRUGGLE feels, even though yours and mine are different.
as far as people NOT caring, ESP. in this "land of the brave..." well, they dont. i have recently learned that this COUNTRY is an expert at hiding many truths from their "people." and a person cannot care about what they have no knowledge of. keep your head up. and never forget to thank THE LORD for everything u get. because when judgement day comes. that's what u'll be judged on. NOT BY HOW MANY PEOPLE DIDN'T CARE.

Wow, i mean i'm sure it's not america's fault. The people here do care and if you got kicked out of the house then i'm guessing there was a reason behind that.

Well, this is just me, but I don't think it's wise to offer your house to a stranger you've never met and who you don't know anyone about. I suppose the best thing to do is point them in the right direction, like the nearest shelter in their area. Like the one Ikki pointed out. It's been some days since she posted this, I hope she already found a place to stay.
