is kindness too much to ask in the society?
materialist is what defined the people these day.what happen to us?is all the the material things blinded us to see from our cultural values?
people should be more laid-back and stop for a while to see what surround us.what for you earn those material stuffs and not able to share it.
reminder,kindness is not something you should kept to yourself but you spread it all around the globe.
let make this planet a better place to live in

We shold give morebut we dont .We set around in wait in stad of doing someing about it.

Let's not ruin the good feelings in this thread. All we can do is be the kindest we can be and hope that we can influence others to do the same. There's not much more to it. If you live in NY, Long Island...I say go help out a community or something...We should be more kind, I agree and to spread that kindness we can't just sit here and talk about it! WE gotta go DO SOMETHING!! :-)

When people are brought together in large groups, they tend to swing from one extreme to another: doing awesome good, destructable evil, or impassionate neutrality. When we're around others, people tend to shrink inside themselves, concerned only about themselves. It's hard to remain an individual when you look at a crowd and can't distinguish a face because everyone looks the same. We turn inward and only through strength of will do we look at others, hold the doors for them, help them after they fall, give them food or aid if they need it... It's hard being a person when the socitety is driving us to apathy.

I agree; unfortunately, i live in new york, long island to make matters worse, and not many people seem to care about anyone else. Everyone's out for themselves cuz they apparently are more important than anyone else. They're so stupid >,<

Well wouldnt that be ideal and perfect! bisingdude, i think everyone would ask for kindness, but amongst the mist of life sometimes we forget to be kind.
As for cultural values, it seems like so many people are living in different morals, inventing their own cultures and their own rules it's no wonder we're constantly searching and asking about kindness, and things of the sort.

But hell yea to "lets make this planet a better place to live in" and for our children, and our grandchildren.
