Can we have a forum with a warning... so it wont be censored like the others are.. Maybe for content for 17+.

By the way- I am totally against this idea, as it wouldn't give me access. <Insert expletive here> my youth and life expectancy! Bushism of the day: "More Muslims have died at the hands of killers than — I say more Muslims — a lot of Muslims have died — I don't know the exact count — at Istanbul. Look at these different places around the world where there's been tremendous death and destruction because killers kill." —George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Jan. 29, 2004

It's a great idea in theory, but the only way something like this can be done is via kat's suggestion, just a warning. Unfortunately, that will never take.

Yeah, my sis is 13 and she lied and said she was 17 without any problem, she just took my birthdate and changed the actual date to her own and voila!, instant access...

I think this idea does have it's pros and cons. But basically, what Celtic said.

Kids would still go to the forum, whether we told them to or not.

I think age restrictions would take away from what YN seems to be for: youth. Youth includes teenagers. The censors aren't that bad and even if you were to have an uncensored board, people would still go onh it and yell at people for cussing etc. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore

Dear no. Then this site will be plagued by more 11 year old newbies lying about their ages.

yeah I agree with Katalina, maybe something like a movie rating on the topic would work.

I think you then run into the problem of parental control software that would block it. And people would still g o on it and complain about any bad language etc. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore

I like that idea- though I think it would be pointless to have an age limit. Just a warning- then no one would be suprised or offended.
