Over and over Jamaica has posted offensive posts. She often insults people's family's and makes assumtions about people. Though many are guilty of making a mean comment to another, many of jamaica's posts are solely that.

These are only some of the most recent. I was under the impression that these kinds of things were not allowed. None of the things she has said (that I have quoted here) were relevant to the debate at all.

I don't think she was punished nearly enough for all of the things she did previously. And she sure hasn't learned.

We're asking for pics to be allowed, not for people to put down each other in such reckless and idiotic ways.

You can't propose that Jamaica be punished while simultaneously asking for less censorship. Why should anyone be punished by yn? We can do a good enough job of that orselves if necessary.

I personally think that a lot of you should learn the cardianal rule of living with siblings...ignore her. If someone does something to get on your nerves and you just ignore it, then you do nothing to fuel the fire and the person does not become defensive. Life is full of people who don't see things the way you do or don't have the same beliefs as you do and choose to say derogatory things to you, learn to deal with it, or you will learn the hard way when you step into the "real world".

That I believe in. We both got a warning already. I want action. The account was moderated but now she's doing the same thing. I mean, she got the chance already...

An old political forum I used to frequent had this one guy on it, there were many theorys floating about him, some thought he was a kid whos granddad told him viet nam stories etc...

He became the forum pet because everyone felt sorry for him, because he would plug away at the same old neo con rhetoric day in and day out, never supporting anything... problem is he doesn't do anything to deserve banning, becausehe walks the line, and thats what people do, you draw a line and they are gonna toe it till they step over it.. give it time and everyone thats toeing it is going to step over it, It's the job of the forum admin to make sure these people dont have the chance to toe it anymore.

ok but my oppinion is that she should be able to say whatever she wants and i doubt they will kick her out.

Jooky, I know there are idiots, but I doubt anything like this will come up in real life. I can deal with what Jamaica is doing, but ti shoudlnt' be allowed because ti is breaking the rules of YN.

I think one thing you can get out of this website is how to deal with people such as Jamacia. The world is full of them and in real life there is no moderator that will ban a person from being a *****.

We tried compromise, you know that.

The lurking thing seems to not read well, she always skipped the compromises and had no brain to stop the insults when warnings were ensued.

This is suppose to be a good enviroment and no put downs or verbal attacks are premitted. And they all need to end on all parties part.

Yeah, free speech is fine. SHooting down family and a person because you're not like them in such an extrme, yet ignorant, way is too much.
