Last week, one of my boards(Black People v.s. ******) was banned and taken from this site.

Now I thought youthnoise was all about freedom of speech as I was making a legitimate point about violence among the black community. This board was not an outlet of racism but instead an attempt to make a well-founded point, and a chance to say what most people want to about the issue.

So, I want a youthnoise representative, someone who works on this site, infact, anyone who works on this site to tell me why this board was taken off the site and why you feel as though you can violate one's freedom of speech.

If anyone else has also had this happen to them or anyone would like to comment please do.

I think it should have been taken off because many people were probably offended by it. I agree you should be able to voice your opinion but it also says you have the right to freedom of expression as long as you do not discriminate, offend, or hurt others. I know you may not think you were hurting anything but you probably did. I know that you broke the offend rule. I think it should have been banned!

I can confirm the latter point. Actually, all you have to do is look around, and they go out of their way not to cover the conservative viewpoints and facts in many issue areas of this site.

I don't think it was the points/opinions expressed in your post but that word is highly offensive even if not meant to be. I never use that word and I don't think anyone should no matter what the circumstance. If you had common sense and a nice personality you could have used a different word in place of that one...or just not use anything at all

come on man. They delete all the posts that arent PG because this site is visited by lots of young people. Just yesterday I had a post deleted because it talked about killing a hypothetical dog. That is perfectly reasonable to delete. I support youthnoise in deleting inapropriate posts, links, and pictures. Even if they are my own.

The board which I spoke of is not the real point of the argument, I have made plenty of legitimate points in posts that little offense to anyone that were also deleted. Maybe Youthnoise is just a little to one-sided, a little to leftwing.

What is this supposed to signify,that Youthnoise officials are not liberal enough just to accomodate your uncourteous attitude?

I know you already know this, but I didn't approve of it at all. I see now that you weren't trying to be racist, but the way it was presented was in a way that it could have offended many people, and that's probably why it was taken off.
