Yeah....please do. I know we all have organizations that are important to us and close to our hearts. I don't pretend to be the only one and I certainly don't want to be selfish and hog all the clicking space. Sorry Brian.

I'm fairly certain there is a small Habitat-like organization based in Detroit (my church was considering doing volunteer work through them). It seems like it would be a decent compromise between Habitat and clicking for smaller organizations. I could look into it if you want...

This world needs failures, someone has to make chicken nuggets and someone has to give the lap dances. If your really smart you know where to get em both at the same time.

I agree with sudha, that December should be dedicated to the J1C's that we didn't finish, because some of them really need it. I also agree that Habitat for Humanity will probably not face money problems, because they're one of the well known charities, and J1C should go to smaller, less known charities. All in favor (of the December going to unfinished J1C's and of giving the money to smaller charities)?

why dont we give away money to less famous orgs...i mean habitat for humanity is one of those orgs that will generally not face a big money prob.. i was just thinking that we should dedicate december to finishing the JLC s that we didnt ..dont know whether thats a good idea but i think we should do that... yeah meg it feels weird to not see how much percentage of the clicks are over..this months JLC got over way to fast..never thought it would...

I thought they were going to re-do the one for The Invisible Children Inc. Which was origanally my idea but we never got to the goal. Everyone said it was bad timing. It's for the children in Uganda who are being kidnapped to become soldiers. It meas a lot to me if you vote for this cause.
