Let's do Building with Books for next month. I think books are something important to kids that we so often take for granted.

Some people are still clicking and it doesn't count anymore. Is there a way to lock the J1C after it has reached its goal?

Congratulations... the J1C goal has been met! We will be sending a check to the Save Darfur Coalition this week due to your efforts. I'd like to thank you all for stepping up and taking on this challenge and making sure that we held it again for this very important cause. Nice work.
We send each organization that receives a donation a letter with a check, and with so many of you dedicated to this cause, I was wondering if any of you had anything you'd like to include in the letter? Please let me know by Wednesday at sara@youthnoise.org and I would be happy to have it included.
In response to getting donors to match our J1C funds, we have done that in the past, with the Standup for Kids J1C last summer, and I think it's a wonderful idea. In fact, perhaps we could get a J1C team together to work on future J1C campaigns and sponsorships? Would anyone be interested in that?
As far as being more challenging and big, not really sure what you mean. Can you elaborate a bit and maybe we can get some ideas rolling?
Thanks again, everyone, for making this campaign so successful. We will have another poll up this week for voting on the next J1C with all of the suggestions that have come in through March and April so far, so be sure to vote, as well as to keep those suggestions coming in.

I don't know that we can get more money to donate (we are a non-profit), and I think it would be silly for us to increase the number of clicks to get $1,000 to donate (that would just take time that we could helping in other ways in our community). If we COULD get a sponsor to donate more money each month, that would be awesome...I just don't know how feasible it is.
