Just wanted to pop in and say that we are waiting for some technical issues to be resolved, and once they are, it will be up. I will personally make sure that you will get a full month to click--but I also have the feeling that you will make it in less than a month.

It will be today, tomorrow at very latest.

The HP has been changed. I apologize for not catching this when it was updated this morning.

I'm also sorry that it wasn't realized when the YN team and NMer's work together that things work for the best. You all are responsible for this campaign succeeding.

Since the last campaign the team pondered over ways to make the J1C more noticeable so it was marked on the schedule to be highlighted on the HP every other day. We thought clicking through automatically would be a way to make this even more effective.

This all being said, YV's campaign is to be on the next poll which goes up within the next day or so. I will post a link to it when it goes live.

So if clicks over 100% don't count, why has the "molliew: Get Clicking" sign been put back up when J1C was finished two days ago?

Also, how do you decide who says the "get clicking" or the "Urges you to click?" Because last time, for Darfur, you had Gilliebean urging us all to click, yet EVERYWHERE on the boards, YV was linking us andtelling us to click. I saw no urging from Gilliebean except on the front page. (Not that there's a problem with it, it just came as a shock seeing everythiing that YV was doing, then suddenly we're being urged to click by somebody with less than 50 clicks in her seven months here).

Finally, when you click the "get clicking" blurb on the front page, is there anyway to not make you click, but to take you to the place where you can click? I'm just asking because someone may be confused and click it, then suddenly they've clicked for an organizaton they despise for whatever reason. We should be allowed to click, not forced by clicking on a link that doesn't tell us what we're even clicking for.

When I was clicking I discovered that the link to the J1C on the J1C page was gone. Now I have to go back to the home page and then back again to the J1C page. For those of us that click again and again on one sitting it is rather annoying. I wish the J1C link on that page was restored. Please.

I think that the next one should go to the invisible children.

Just to make this clear to YNStaff about why we were confused about J1C only going to a specific goal.

As I was spending the afternoon clicking, I read a few lines on the J1C page. You all wrote:

Nowhere on the page does it say: Only goal amount will be donated IF goal is reached.

Therefore, the above lines are quite problematic because they construe the idea that all funds raised WILL go to the organization, no matter if we have more than enough or less than enough clicks. To put simply, that a cent for each click WILL go to that organization.

Because of this ill-wording, you have two choices:

1. Clarify. Say something such as "If, and only If, we reach our goal, YN will donate [that set amount of money] to [the specific cause]."
2. Change the policy so that a click will be a cent and that cent WILL go to that organization, no matter if it is only $10 or if it's $1500. (Okay, you can cap it at $1000, but honestly, even $10 is useful to people who need money).
