Question:
Censorship on YN has gone too far. I don't cuss, I don't use dirty words, I just want to debate and have fun. But today I got a message that said I there was a "trigger word" in one of my innocent posts. What was this word? Crime, perhaps? Stalk? Are we not allowed to talk about these things? I am against all censorship, but I can live with the ****-out of cuss words and what not. But we don't need to be neurotic enough. Due to a recent event, we now can't post pictures without the approval of the ever-so-holy Mods. That's not free speech, that's a dictatorship. We come here to express ourselves, not to be babied.
What enrages me the most is that our beloved Post Your Pic! thread has mysteriously disappeared. I could understand if some small changes had to be made, but it has yet to return.
I won't go so far to say that the mods ENJOY taking our threads away, but it is getting a little out of hand.

Mods, we love you all, but you don't need to babysit us. Please, just a little leniency? Trust us, maybe?

Now why was that edited? It was uncensored words and ******s. Now once again, cheese**** was in there, so if it bothers you mods so effin' much,
1. censor it
2. don't tempt us to post curses in an attempt to find uncensored words

I don't think there is too much censorship...for what YN provides it's fine. Censoring the cussing is understandable. I haven't gotten the trigger word message yet, but even so, it's not that bad, it's really not censoring "content" much at all. I've had posts completely deleted (because I was being excessively mean, "verbally abusive", or making threats (hilarious ones, but still threats)". At least most of you haven't experiences that, which is the censoring of your post because of part of the overall message. Of course I did raise a big fuss about The Insult Board being taken...

No, because someone like WJ is bound to use it as an insult, in which case it would be very derogatory to some. Although personally I think calling someone a hetero is an insult. That lifestyle is terrible.

You have to guess. I will give a hint to some of them....I took dwm's and bushsupporter's comments into consideration.

can you tell us what they are? Or do we have to test words ourselves? lol
