Hydrok has had to wear a mod hat before (not at YOUTH NOISE)and he's speaking as someone has been there and I do appreciate the support! I'm not mad when you express your opinions to me. I've been with YOUTH NOISE long enough to know that most times when there is frustration (for whatever reason) it has to be taken out on someone and the moderator is usually the one who is handy to take it out on. I wouldn't be human if I said that it doesn't bother me sometimes but "harrassed" is a strong word and I've never, ever, felt that way.

YNLissa, are you mad that we have boards like this to express our opinions on things to you? Hydrok seems to think you do and I would like an answer from you, not him. And do you think we are harassing you? Hydrok, quit acting like you are better than everyone else. The intention is not to harass the mods and I dont think it comes across that way. We all love YnLissa! Why would we want to harass her? quote: How about actually finding out what goes on behind the scenes, then draft a proposal, formaly and e-mail it to them. Dont make a production out of it.
THis is not political Warhorse, therefore you have no clue what goes on behind the scenes. It is not necessarily anything like PWH. DWM was simply showing how strongly he felt about something by saying he was planning on leaving. quote: Honest to god, I'm not being unreasonable
No, you're being a pain in the *** holier than thou jerk. Your not a mod, and never will be so quit acting like you are. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore

Yeah, constructive feedback, like I gave feedback, and now the NMail has been modified, but none of you even knew that happened. There are better ways to get things done then to threaten like a child to leave the site, and to harrass the mods like a 5 year old. How about actually finding out what goes on behind the scenes, then draft a proposal, formaly and e-mail it to them. Dont make a production out of it. Honest to god, I'm not being unreasonable

quote: Can you please explain this trigger word rule to me? I mean, can we have a list of trigger words or something so we don't accidentaly use one and get our posts taken away?
There is not a list....The only time that your post would get caught by a trigger would be if a photo or link to photo was posted. The trigger works by picking up certain text in posts and will hold the posts in moderation until it is reviewed and released. There are no words in it at this time that would cause posts to be moderated other than the photos or links to photos. If you have a post that is caught by the trigger and you don't have a photo in it, please let us know so we can investigate what is going on.

No problem.

Mods, Can you please explain this trigger word rule to me? I mean, can we have a list of trigger words or something so we don't accidentaly use one and get our posts taken away? I mean, Kate got a message about trigger words. What does that tell you? Also, I still don't understand completely why the "Post Your Pic" thread has been taken. For our safety. Yeah..that makes it all seem much more clear (note the sarcasm). Can't you give us anything more? quote: And if you sensor "h omo," you should also sensor hetero. It's only fair. Equality, right?
*smiles* You're the best, DWM.

I am grown up, and I show that by not blindly agreeing with everything other people think are best. Hydrok, we're not beating down on the mods. We're making threads like this because the mods never done this before and they say that YN is for freedom of speech. And they also ask feedback from us, so you dont need to stick up for them. I've also heard you say you hate/dislike YN many times before. -Sunset

quote: And I never said I hated YN, and when you say "all" thats hyperboly, because this thread and a very select few have I mentioned being a mod at another forum.
I've heard it form you like 3 times, minimum. quote: And by berating mods for acting on thier best instinct and judgement your making a fool out of yourself. there are 20 boards dedicated to *****ing out the mods. I stick up for these people because I'm mature enough to understand whats in the little agreement you sign when you register an account... plus I know what these people go through to keep a board opperational. By having your ***** sessions your being counter productive.
We're not bereating the mods, we are giving our opinions on what is happening. If you are tlaking about the lounge of erotica, we're not being mean, you just don't get us. The mods don't need your protection, we're being perfectly civil. We all understand what we agree to when we sign up, but that is irrelevant. You are not a mod and you need to stop acting like you are better than the rest of us and know why everything happens.
I don't care if you were convinced to come back. You've even said you dislike YN, so why stay? It seems all you try to do is tell us how other sites are run (and before, why they are better).

Hydrok, quit being a jerk. You don't even like YN, you've said so before. WHy don't you just go back to Political Warhorse? I understand why Lissa and the other mods must censor somethings and must approve pictures before they go up, but I don't think all the words that are censored need to be. Hydrok, you need to change your attitude to other people. You don't need to get on people's cases for stating their opinions.
