If no one has any good reason as to why harmless posts don't show up and harmless threads get deleted, I'm leaving. I know it's not a big loss to the mods, but it's my threat.

I've had more than one post deleted because it had more than one 'trigger' words in it. I'm not saying go and cuss in every sentence, but taking our posts and threads away isnt free of speech at all and it really i'snt fair.

I would also like to say thanks for the YNer who posted the porn. Thanks a bunch, dip****. That is the whole reason why we're having our posts and pictures checked.

I don't think words like "q-ueer" should be sensored.
And if you sensor "h omo," you should also sensor hetero. It's only fair. Equality, right?

We understand that the process of having pictures moderated before going live is frustrating but YOUTH NOISE cannot risk the chance of pornography being posted to the boards again. Perhaps, down the road if YOUTH NOISE approves the NMer Mods and gets more help we can release the posts automatically.

As for the "post your pic" thread, I posted a response here,

YOUTH NOISE does value your opinions wholeheartedly! We really do not like removing threads/posts but sometimes it is necessary especially where safety and privacy are issues.

I think they do thier job how they wish too... and they actually do follow up on reports, and I'd like to praise them for thier efforts regarding the noise mail policy.
