Nevermind...I decided not to go due to too many previous obligations that I didn't feel I could get out of.

I'll let the team know but there's a good chance that notifications will go out by Friday.

Lissa, I may be out of town this weekend starting Saturday because I'm going to the beach with my best friend....if I get a notification, what will happen if I don't reply/accept/whatever in a week (we're not coming back until the next Saturday).

Hopefully by weekend notifications will be sent out.

When will we find out if we are or are not mods?

If I lived near San Francisco I'd beg YN to let me have an in person interveiw. They didn't tell him his application wasn't good enough which caused him to go down there. His interveiw is irrelevant to how good of a job he'd do.

Most will let you curse (maybe not the f-word but most curse words), allow you to post any picture as long as complaints are not filed, and won't delete posts because of sexual substance again, unless complaints are filed.

not the owner directly, the YN staff and NMers. NMers don't want to see personal attacks and neither does the staff.

It does. The YAB doesn't interact with the NMers on that level, the mods would.

So in short yogore you agree with me... cool.

But a couple of rebuttles before i run off and do something constructive with myself:

first of all, it doesn't matter if the YNers know the mods, if we were to vote on anything it would have been the YAB because they have the most direct influence over where the boards are going, and how they change... and I'm sorry to say that I know about 4 of them, and the rest are brand new to the forums, and some dont even post, so explain that one away.

And dont you think that by keeping posts under control and such that they are doing what the owner wants?
