I'm not attacking anyone. I thought the idea was stupid, so I stated my opinion. If I were calling people "names" out of anger or whatever, that's different. But if I believe what I say, then I'm justified. The people I disagreed with are the ones who made this a big deal. I simply stated an opinion, and because I disagreed, everyone got mad. If you don't like what I say, don't respond and neither will I. And I'm not contradicting myself because I stand behind what I say. I was simply stating an opinion. You are the ones who got mad at me for that.

i guess you are calling me a feeble-minded fool too. So, i think you should re-read what you have been writing, and maybe then you will figure out who is the one that needs to simmer down. Redjill gave an idea, then you barked at it and everyone who agreed with it. How ironic your views of being ignorant and feeble-minded are. I really dont know what your point is, yelling at everyone. We all pretty much think that what you are saying is ignorant. Don't shoot people's ideas down for no reason, thats not a smart thing to do. Someone pointed this out already, if you dont like a chat room, then dont go in it! Did you stop to think about that one? i dont think you did. You have no reason to attack everyone for their ideas and opinions.

Actually if you called me a "jackas$" I would take it to heart. If you're calling me that, then you probably have good reason. Anyway, I'm not calling you names, I really think you are feeble-minded fools. If you can't deal with that, then quit responding to me, and so will I. Also RedJill, thanks for pointing out to me that I don't appreciate living in a democratic society. I guess I don't. Maybe now, that you've made this observation, I can truly come to appreciate the country I live in. Thanks.

Look at what you are saying Kilo. You are not stating facts, but rather forming an OPINION about us. You don't know nearly enough about us to call us feeble-minded, or for that matter, fools. I respect that you do not want a chat room. That is completely fine! I'm glad you shared your opinion, but it does not mean you can call people names. I'm offended, and I'm sure you would be too if someone insulted you. How would you like it if I called you a jacka$$? I don't think you would. Same idea. "Fool" is not a nice way to describe someone. "Opinionated", yes. "Fool?" no. And just because we respond in a way that is different from you does not entitle you to start the name calling. Please respect our opinions just as we respect yours. Maybe you could go more in depth as to why you oppose a chat room and explain (in a non-provoking way) why. -Linnea

I think I am entitled to be angered by your comments, kilo. Calling someone a feeble-minded fool IS name calling... it's not "facts." If you had disagreed with me and stated your opinion without insulting everyone you disagreed with, I would have been COMPLETELY cool with it. I cannot ignore an insult to myself and to the predominately tolerant and good-hearted people here at youthnoise. Unlike you, I don't call people "fools" if I disagree with them. You don't seem like the type of person who appreciates living in a democracy, if you insist on bashing anyone who has an opinion you don't really care for.

RedJill, you continue to prove my point with your ignorant posts. I wasn't calling people names. I was stating what they are. I think anyone who agrees with the idea of a chat room is a feeble-minded fool. So how is that childish? If you think something looks black, then you'll call it black. So what's wrong with me calling people feeble-minded fools if I think they are? That's right. There's nothing wrong with that. You're the one getting mad RedJill. If you aren't a feeble-minded fool, then why are you getting mad? Maybe I hit a sore spot. And Mack10, thanks for contradicting yourself and further proving my point. First of all, how am I interfering with anyone's rigths by giving my opinion? Second of all, you say that I should just let everyone have an opinion, so why can't you just let me have mine? And lastly, those disagreeing are the ones making "the world revolve around me". If everyone would have just ignored me, I wouldn't have said anything else. I was just giving my opinion. So it looks like people like you are making the world revolve around me. Once again, you feeble-minded fools are proving me right, and proving yourselves to be just what you are.

Kilo, I think you've opened your trap once too many times. I mean, everyone is entitled to their opinion, correct? Everyone knows that but their opinion can only go so far as long as it doesn't interfere with others' rights... Hey, if they want a chat room, give em a chat room. What does it matter to you? You can just NOT go in there...there's an idea for you, smart one. The world certainly doesn't revolve around your ideas nor your opinions...if they want one, let em have it and you can just ignore it.

If you don't like an idea, kilo, you DON'T GO CALLING PEOPLE NAMES. If an idea is presented in a calm and rational manner, and you disagree, you state your disagreement in a calm and rational manner. There was nothing calm and rational about you calling everyone who likes the chat room idea a "feeble-minded fool". That was a blatant insult to me and all those who support my idea. It was childish and uncalled for, and EXACTLY the kind of thing that you complained about in your post.
It seems that you can't take even a little disagreement over even the simplest thing such as whether to have a chat room. If you can't take opposing opinions, maybe you shouldn't be here.

Contradictory? How is that contradictory? I wasn't calling anyone names, I was stating facts. If something is square, and you call it square, is that contradictory? I don't think so. So if someone is a feeble-minded fool and you call he or she a feeble-minded fool, that also is not contradictory. Just because I don't have tolerance for absurd ideas does not mean that I'm contradictory.

what you are doing is VERY contradictory. First you wrote... quote: A bunch of immature short-sighted kids in a room together?... But given the preschool maturity level of the people on this site, it's a terrible idea. I laugh at the proposterous proposals of you feeble minded fools.
Hello?!!?!?! Pre-school level?? Look who is calling people names and dissing people's ideas. It's called tolerance and maturity, Kilo. If you can't practice what you preach then don't attack your fellow YouthNOISE-rs.

Hey, if you aren't a feeble minded fool then why did you take it personally? A lot of people agree with the idea, because they too, are feeble minded fools. Anyway, it's not a good idea because people on this site are to immature. They don't stick to the subject and they get all mad when you disagree (kinda like you did). So, I again say that a chat room is a poor idea.

i think it is a great idea! i support you all the way. Don't let other people's opinions affect this. There will always be one person who never agrees. Having an ignore button or block will take care of unwanted people. And if there is a host to watch for any rules that are broken then i don't think there would be any problems.

Maybe it's just me, but when someone says that everyone with a certain idea is a "feeble minded fool", and I am the person who helped start the idea, I tend to take it pretty personally. So far you're the only person who says this is a stupid idea. A lot of others don't think so... and they've given reasons for why they think it's a good idea. You have not. I would like to know these reasons; it would help me to see where you're coming from. Jill
