I was recently linked to this User Submitted Article on YN. And I'm curious as to the fact of why an article like that would be put up by YN. This person has spammed the boards endlessly with the same information causing him to be blocked from the boards numerous times with different screen names. He has also spammed other peoples articles with a copy and past of the same, as well as many peoples profiles. Also, I don't know why they'd let something with the words "SUICIDE VACCINE--[It works, which is the only point, Eh?!]" be posted as article on this website, which would mislead the readers.
Does anyone else have a problem with this, or is it just me?
I find this to be very upsetting.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

And by the way, I hadn't taken in to consideration that it might just work for someone. I shouldn't have assumed otherwise. Yes, FML does have a point indeed.

FML is right, he's not promoting suicide, he's trying prevent suicide. There was communication with our editorial staff about this article and we decided keep the submission as author wanted to be heard on this issue which was important to him and also made a promise not to spam anymore.
The editorial staff has also been working hard to use board blurbs on hp. If you have a board you would like to be used, please feel free to submit them to submissions@youthnoise.com.

It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.
Although I don't think spamming the boards is good, I don't have a problem with YN posting an article that could give someone a ray of hope.

I think the reason it ended up as an article is that the editing staff and the board staff do not communicate on a lot of matters, likely this one.
I know I personally would like to see the site more cohesive, since it feels like the boards kind of get neglected.
