This topic: http://boards.youthnoise.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/6932953...r=11810905#11810905, was recently closed by greenmod. Once again, another board of mine or notsojoey's is closed. I don't think things were out of hand at all on the board. You can read it for yourselves, I guess.

I find that I am often being reprimanded by greenmod for many outlandish things. I feel that I (and others who share my views) am being unfairly targeted by greenmod and I would request that it stop. It is annoying to be chased around the boards and called hateful and insulting (http://boards.youthnoise.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/28410584663/m/91510611763/p/2) while I see people typing the word "FUCK" 50 times in a row and talking about how much they hate thier parents. Where is greenmod when that stuff is posted? Nowhere to be found. But when I make a controversial statement greenmod is right on top of it.

Greenmod told me to appeal to another mod, so I am appealing to YNLissa, who always hands down fair judgement. Thank you for hearing my complaint.

I agree. From what I've seen on the threads, GreenMod is discriminatory and argues with the posters.

If you feel that the topic should remain locked, I respect your ruling. I am still concerned with the treatment that I receive from many mods on here. If you could please address that.

GreenMod doesn't mention fire starting at in his reasoning to close the board, so I am dissapointed the thread will continue to be closed on these lines.

I guess GreenMod thinks posts were insulting. Mods have edited individual posts in he past they deem to be insulting, so why didn't that happen this time? Recently, not many posts are being made on youythNOISE, so I would think it would be important to keep open a thread that is getting responses, while just removing the psts the mod finds offensive.

I would still like to know how a Mod is capable of making a decision, and is able to refuse to defend that position when asked about.

I have pointed several insulting posts, made by people with a liberal viewpoint, on this board, and no action has been taken. This leads me to believe that the Mods are unfairly targeting me and bushsupporter who have conservative views.

It probably seemed that the intent of the board was to start a flame which to close would be a good call. If this board was not intented for this, perhaps an explanation might help better decide whether or not the board should remain locked?

The mods are not omniscient.

Why have not these offensive remarks been removed by Mods?

I was insulted that GreenMod had locked a board I had started, that was in the appropriate location. I agree with Bushsupporter, the board was not out of control and encourage others to read the board to see for themselves.

GreenMod has target my posts in the past, which I have pointed out, and is one of the reasons I have left youthNOISE in the past. It is shocking that youthNOISE allows a mod to harass a noiseMAKER simply because he or she disagrees with the NOISEmaker. I completly agree with Bushsupporter that GreenMod is targeting myself and others because of our conservative views and I encourage youthNOISE to look at his past actions against conservative NOISEmakers compared to liberal NOISEmakers.

What is most troubling is that GreenMod says, "If someone doesn't like this decision, appeal to another mod, not this one." It is a shock that Mods are given absolute power, as GreenMod suggests in this quotes, and has taken on an attitude that he or she is right, everyone else is wrong, and that he or she will not even listen to anyone else.

There is no doubt in my mind that GreenMod closed my thread because he or she thought it was childish as GreenMod has done that in the past and doesn't offer any legitimate reasons for closing this thread except for his rouge attitude.

Just for the record, moderators try to target spam and personal attacks first and foremost. We do not censor swears (unless they are part of a personal attack), and we do not delete or lock threads simply on the grounds of finding the topic childish.

This is not to say that the thread in question contained personal attacks or spam; I'm not going to weigh in on that matter, as it has already been directed to Lissa.
