The Christiangirl piece Dina is referring to was featured as an article, not just a post. I've gotta say, I've been a bit peeved about the weird spin the YouthNOISE staff have put on the war. Weird.

Anyway, Dina, I'd encourage you to stick around. I totally feel you, and was going through the same thing when I found out this site isn't what I thought it would be (actual activists). While I didn't get to network and brainstorm with amazing people the way I thought I could, I've learned quite a bit about people (especially hard-core Christians, which I hadn't really come into contact with before), and I'd like to think it's made me a better person.

Either way, it's good to see another young activist in you.

P.S. Just in case you haven't heard of it yet, check out Not In Our Name. A lot of what you said reminded me of their Pledge of Resistance.

Youth noise is a site open to everyone to speak there opinions. Even if you don't like it they can say it. They don't support war but they do dispaly other people's opinions it they are debatable. So I think you should change your mind because it is an excellent website.

youthNOISE is a diverse site where many diverse people express opinions and discuss/debate current issues. This site remains neutral (i.e. it does not take sides, it simply grants everyone freedom of speech, unless certain posts violate the "rules of play"). If you recieve posts in your email, you must have signed up for it. Christiangirl is obviously a nationalist (extreme patriot) and does NOT represent all of the people who participate in this site, but she still has the right to express her opinion. Not everyone has the same perspective as you. I really enjoy this site because I can talk about important issues that concern me as well as the rest of the world. Maybe you just need to be a little more open.
