I know for a fact that thay have been running for almost a year now. i saw the commercial then mace to this site (march 17, last year) and thats right around the corner.

Ooh, nice. I didn't see the commerical, living in Israel and all, but i did see the article in Seventeen about Seeds of Peace. It was cool, seeing it helped people. I need to show it to some people here- the whole Israel/Palestine thing is making people really racist.

Seriously though, they give poor schools a tv for every classroom and a free news program each day, in return for having a fixed audience for commercials. That's sick. I really, really hope YouthNOISE doesn't get involved in propogating that sort of disgusting exploitation.

i first heard about youthNOISE through seventeen magazine, when they did the article about seeds of peace. so i guess that kind of is like a magazine ad. youthNOISE should do a commercial on ChannelOne (i think that most middle schools and high schools get ChannelOne), which is a 15 minute (including commercials) newscast for the middle and high schoolers of america, if you didn't already know that (i'm sure most of the NOISEmakers on youthNOISE know what it is, if you don't). Lisa Ling (from the View) was a newscaster on ChannelOne before she went to the View.

Currently, YouthNOISE isn't running any ads in magazines. That was a pretty cool idea you had about having a YouthNOISE mag!  YNLissa |
