I registered the channel #youthnoise on irc.lagnet.org.za.

It's South Africa's second largest IRC server... I'm not in South Africa, you probably aren't either, but the new IRC chat room is. So, go there if you want. I'll try to be in there occasionally.

Go to mirc.com for a good IRC client... once you install that you should be good to go, just connect to lagnet and type "/join #youthnoise".

It is a true statement that we'd have some peeps wanting to go "ASL?" and only a few outcasts actually wanting to debate, but I believe if those few could get together and start a topical chatroom, it would be a blessing to us. We need somewhere where we can share our ideas about the world and the world can share their ideas with us. So please, whoever this may concern, get me a chatroom!

If you all want a chatroom, go to wherever Proteus suggested, and stop crying about it.

Jesus Christ, if you really want to chat, go get on aol or msn. I'm sorry, I just a bit irritated when there are 10 different posts about getting a chatroom.

to have chatrooms on youth noise would be really nice . this website already post things about our world and national news so why not have a chatroom were could talk or chat with each other and see more perspectives than just ours. it would change alot.

I think a chatrooom will be a good idea because so many people are in the same time here and some of us need help urgently and of course this doesn't mean that we're gonna leave the NOISEBOARDs. Please staff members, think about it.

ya know its kind of sad because we dont get to talk to each other with out emailing people. This is a cool sight and and all but it needs a chatroom becauseim tired of emailing people.i want to know what their saying fa real.until then peace on the heezy fo shaeezy! ya know and all.

I know I'm a bit nocturnal, and I live on the west coast (my 9 is your 12), but still it seems weird to me that I've never encountered another person in that IRC chat room. Does anyone else actually use it?
