Hey guys, just wanted to let you know about the YouthNoise Footwork Flix Dance Competition. It's a video contest open to all dancers—you just have to submit a 1-3 minute video of you bustin' a move. You could win $1000 dollars for yourself and $1000 to donate to a youth or health nonprofit! Check out the details at http://www.youthnoise.com/footworkflix

Hi! Welcome to YN! I sent you a NOISEMail containing this same content, but in case you find your way back to this thread... I would start by going to this page. http://www.youthnoise.com/boards/rulesofplay.phpIt's the Rules of Play. A lot of new members don't ever look at them, and it's SO helpful to know what the rules are up front. Once you do that, click around on the boards and find a topic that you think is interesting. Topics are organized with the first post on top, and then the newer posts will be on top of the posts below. Please make sure that the last post was sometime in 2007, it's kind of frustrating when new members bring back old threads. I would recommend that you start with this page. http://boards.youthnoise.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/693295355/m/55410582It's our new member page, where you can get paired with an older member who can kind of show you the ropes around the site and who you can go to if you have any questions. I think that's about it for now. If you have any specific questions, feel free to send me a NOISEMail (go to the top menu bar under "tools"). Welcome again!

I can kind of, I guess, since I am taking a Jazz/Hip Hop class, and I was my school's spring musical this year.

I can dance! I'm in a dance group. However, I'm not gonna enter the contest.

I can dance like an white man but I don't think that counts

Yes, the rules that THEY set. The people who run this site PRIVATELY. Not you, the one who chooses to use this site free of charge.

Ok. First of all, I hardly noticed that there was more than one thread about this. Second, I was easily able to ignore them and move on with my day perfectly fine. It's not like you're forced to click through each and every thread to get to the others. Just skip it. That simple. I don't think I'll ever understand why "spamming" is such a big friggin' deal.
