I said all because Kat once told me that there were plenty of award threads when Freedom began his. I didn't want to belittle anyone elses threads. I still think that maybe this could be given a chance and if it doesn't work out then end it. Thats just my opinion though.

And "all" the award threads? I only can think of one.

I think people will call it favoritism even if it isn't. In theory it's a good idea, but in practice, it could go either way. "You learn about equality in the classroom but you find out about it in life" - Campus Confidential www.myspace.com/yogore

It's not playing favorites its giving credit where credit is do. And reconizing those who deserve to be recognized.

The mods don't need to play favorites. It wouldn't work.

jamaica its not how good people are its their attitude and what the contribute the the forum. When you go around giving opnions and calling them facts of course thats gonna put you down in the ranks. What have you done for this forum jamica? I hosted an open drug question post, to help people understand more about them, maybe I saved someones life by doing so because they are now more educated in the subject. I dont go around telling people to do drugs or have sex. I trust them enough to run their own life. You like control, antifreedom, you even said it yourself, you conform to everything the church says. You arent free, you are a little sheep following the heard. bahhh bahhhhh bah theres some sheep talk incase you didnt understand what i wrote. You probably wont even read everything I wrote. Then jump to conclusions like you always do.

I don't think that it would really be a favorism thing because other YNers would all be able to nominate a YNers and give input into this. And maybe they could even ask the nominated person if they wanted it or not before actually giving it to them. I just think that it would a good thing so those who are trying to make a difference in a respectable manner would be honored and acknowledged.

really? i dont see it. The way i see it, everyone here pretends to be good, when i fact, they are not. Spare me all your lectures on "respect", and "compromising" because I HAVENT SEEN THAT. I have browsed through hundreds of posts here lately. I dont see ANY that deserves to be awarded.

I think it's a bad idea. I would be embarrassed, in a bad way, if I got YNer of the month. It just reminds me of El Día de Corazón in school.
