While on the boards recently, I have discovered a few problems on YN: 1. When you get a NoiseMail, the link leads you to a dead end when you attempt to NoiseMail the person back. 2. The search for members button doesn't work half the time... Or most of the time, actually. 3. It would be really nice if there was an "I forgot my password button" for those of us who spent a while attempting to remember the case-sensitivityness of our passwords. If there's any way these issues could be addressed and preferibly fixed, it would be appreciated.

No, it worked today, so I don't know what the problem was.

Shade, are you still having problems? Please let me know. The edit worked for me but I want to be sure it's working for you.

Hey amp, sorry we haven't responded to your post sooner. So we're trying to let everyone build their own causes, and everybody's got a different perspective. In this case, some may be for, against, partially for or against, challenging, thinking about, etc. The idea is to personalize as much as possible, but I'm sorry if it's confusing. There are a lot of plans in store for the causes and there may be consolidations, changes, etc. in the future that I don't know about but I'll be sure to let you know if I hear anything. Thanks, Sara

Don't get me wrong, I love animals...but I am really not a fan of having that on the links and I have to admit I don't understand the significance of their presence.
On your YN fact sheet, you claim to be nonpartisan. However, with those lovely little "animal rights," "global warming," etc things, it can be argued that you are, in fact, taking sides and pushing your agenda, and therefore, not nonpartisan. That and it's WAY too much wording for links.

I made sure I wasn't looking at my public profile. I clicked "My profile" at the bottom of the screen, and there's an edit button on everything else.

I just checked my profile with both browsers I use and the "edit" button was on both. Be sure you aren't looking at your "public" profile as it won't show up there. For time, click on Go->Personal Zone->Preferences and you can set up your time preferences. Hope this all helps, if you have questions just let me know.

It's showing it as Pacific time for me too... *Edit: Also, there's no edit button on the about me section of my profile (The part with my favorite song, heros, philosophy, etc.). Is it supposed to be like that or...?

Umm...it's randomly showing things that people post in Pacific time instead of my time zone (EST). Any idea why?

Don't be sad. It was actually an amusing error, one that wasn't frustrating in the least.

Lisa, you're going to hate this on top of last night, but if you haven't caught it yet, go to a random cause channel and look at the images on the right hand side. I have to say, I enjoy violence being a praying kid, life being a cannon, and tolerance being a gang fight... Who would have known YN loves irony as much as I?
