Hey YouthNOISE staff. I have a problem (oooh, here comes the ranting):
For the past two years, I only had to log into my YouthNOISE account once, and I took the liberty of posting on the boards without any trouble.
Just recently, whenever I try to view a YN page, I have to re-log in because I'm currently "not logged in." And whenever I make a post and go back to the thread, I have to, again, re-log in to view that page. It's quite tedious.. not to mention aggravating. To be more specific, the error says: "Your login failed. Please check your username and password."
Is there any way to fix this before I go potentially insane?

l had some problems like that earlier,it got solved though not after a couple of mail to youthnoise staff.

You should have received a letter from support on July 14, 2003. I did check to make sure one was sent. From my understanding, and mind you I'm not the most computer literate person on the block so bear with my explanation. It has to do with how your local cache works. What may be happening is that when you use your navigation such as going back to the previous page prior to logging on, your cache will pick up the page as not being logged in. I'm not sure but there may be some configuration settings you can set so this won't happen. I know we ask for what pages you try to login to help with troubleshooting but maybe you could email support@youthnoise.com again and list all the steps you took until the point of where you noticed the problem and support might have some additional ideas.

I sent the requested information to YN Support, but the problem still hasn't been fixed.
Are you all on vacation, or just too apathetic, or working on it, or what? Just curious.

Sorry you have been having problems with the site. I'm not sure why this is happening but have forwarded your post to YN team. If possible could you email support@youthnoise.com and send them the following information which will also help them with troubleshooting. *what kind of operating system (Mac or PC) and browser you are using (be sure to include the version number) *Please also send the URL from the page you are using to login
