Just a friendly reminder for your safety, that it's never a good idea to post your personal information such as last names, where you live, what school you go to etc.
It's nice to be important but it's more important to be nice.

Unfortunately, people are not always trustworthy, especially when they can hide behind a computer screen and type lies to unsuspecting people.

If they google my full name, they'll probably end up with porn - definitely not me. But thanks for caring Lissa. quote: You mean you haven't recieved it yet? Damn postal service.

I will post my name and town/state if one asked, but rest assured: my social security number, ATM card, PIN, etc. will not be divulged.

A few people know my adress. I'm waiting for the stalker. Or the mail bomb. Or the anthrax envelope.

It's a vastly overblown fear. No offense, Lissa, but I wish you'd stop catering to the paranoia of technophobes. The reality is, we could all give our full names, addresses, and telephone numbers, and post personal pictures, and none of us would be the worse for wear. Nobody should be forced to display their private information, but nobody should be forced to conceal it, either.

I think the only thing you cannot say or else you're seriously risking stalking is your adress. The est you have to say like in a "combo", such as, giving you last name, your frist name, your pic and your hometown.

Well, a little too late Lissa. Dauben new my name in the first place (and town), then stupidity blabbed it. And plus, there is a thousand other people with the same name. So names shouldnt be a big deal. -Sunset
