Hi! I was just wondering I saw this one member with a colored background on her homepage. I really want to know how to do that! If anybody responds I know I can count on Ikki14Reed!

It's not a personal conversation...it's a segway on a board that would already be dead otherwise. If you do have a personal question, you can noisemail the person individually. The end.

Aren't you now sort of making this a private conversation, which is why you get upset about this in the first place? And, by the way, she just wanted to say that Ikki14Reed has been really helpful to her. She was not trying to start a private conversation.

It's not a matter of not KNOWING proper English for the most part...it's usually just thinking that it's faster to type in IM slang. I don't know about anyone else, but for me, YN has been an amazing tool (outside of the obvious benefits)...not only do I feel as though my grammar in everyday speech has improved, I am also amazed by the speed at which I'm able to type properly. It makes typing papers SO much easier! (So much so that I feel entitled to procrastinate even more than when I was a slow typer...) You see, there is even more benefit to the person who types properly than to the readers. Yes, we all get an easier read, but the typist gets improved grammar and typing skills...AND the satisfaction that what he or she types will actually be read.

Really? The way you spell I wouldn't have guessed. Do you sleep in your english classes by chance? I'm sorry even 13 year olds should be able to communicate in something resembling proper english.

ok... let me tell you a little story about private messaging. It's a wonderful feature that allows you to ask the person who did whatever it is you wanted to do directly. So you don't need to bother any one else who likely doesn't know the awnser to your specific question, or take up space in a feedback portion of the site. You know, feedback about real problems The awnser to your question is they inserted HTML text in to their profile, same as you do to modify a myspace. There's plenty of tutorials on it out in the web. Just google it. Or someone around here can explain the details to you. Protip: "no" as you were using it is spelt "know" and "sry" needs another "r" and an "o" to be spelled correctly.
