In fact I did debate with one new person, Maharini, a person who hadnt talked with any of you so that she or he could hate me without even knowing me. we had a wonderful debate with out name calling. i was acutally surprised.
i dont care how immature it sounds it is the truth. if you will look in teh age limit topic you will find that people not inside the coalition (Andrewcon) had brought up the coalition in a topic where it didnt need to be brought up in.
did any of you read what i said last night in this topic? i told you that have a habit of yelling at people. Redrepublican, how do you prove someone "wrong?" Is it when they call uncle, or when they stop posting? In my case, I stopped posting on my arguement with you because I got tired of debating with someone who retorted against my statements with false facts.

What we are all trying to point out to you and make you understand is this:

You can have all of the opinions you want. You can express them as much as you want. BUT (1) if someone disagrees with you, you should at least hear them out and see where they're coming from before you automatically take offense (2) if someone disagrees with you, that DOES NOT give you any right to say offensive remarks to them (3)if you would just answer a post that disagrees with you in a manner like, "I see where you're coming from but this is how I see it..." that would solve most of the problems that members have with you and other members of the HC.

I know that others on the boards have made offensive remarks, and that yes we all human---we're bound to make mistakes. But, instead of acknowledging your own mistakes, you are ever consistent with the, "But so-and-so did it too!" Do you realize how immature and childish that sounds? Worry about what you said or the offensive remarks you said instead of worrying about or commenting on what someone else did/said. Take responsibility for your own actions please.

I don't hate you or the HC. I just think that it has gone overboard. I don't mind if you hang around, red, because this is a free country and you do have the right of free speech. But I don't think the HC should continue---the members can stay, the group and all the negativity it entails should cease.

I think we all, not just the HC but everyone, should learn to discuss matters and topics in a more civilized manner. Just because you disagree with someone, DOES NOT give you the right to mean or yell at the person. I think we are all mature enough to see that and understand that and I think we're all mature enough to discuss subjects in an unoffensive manner. It just happens that the HC has been the biggest problem in regards to this aspect. Do not be angry at us, red, because you think we hate you---because I, the starter of this thread, do not hate you. I just think that the HC is unnessecary and has come to stand and symbolize many things that I don't think the members thought it would come to represent.

That's not what I'm after. I would rather the 'coalition' not live in 'pretend world'. This is the internet I know, but there used to be little things called reality and sanity that thrived on youthnoise.

Sure, the "Honorable Coalition" is horrible. But is that any reason to shut them down? If we decide they can't have their little pathetic group, then we're denying them their right to free speech. The great and terrible thing about this country is that everyone has a right to speak their mind.

In addition, they do raise the occassional good point. What annoys me is the way they spam these points to death but seconding, thirding, and fourthing each other (usually before I even see the post exists). I urge them, as Coalition members, to stop doing that, but I see no real reason for YN to intervene.

Also, if the Coalition collapsed, who would I make fun of on here? It just wouldn't be the same.

Eh, just ignore them. They will all go away eventually. Besides, everyone can see right through them (except, of course, those who agree with them) and they are just proving over and over again that they are bigots who hate anything and everything that they do not understand. Eventually, in the real world, and hopefully sooner than later, they will learn some tolerance of others and their views.

See, I find this endlessly amusing. They think their opinions are "right," when opinions are neither right nor wrong.
