yes, i agree that tolerance doesn't mean that we accept those kind of lifestyles, but come to think of it, why does this site have rules at all, when, looking at all the posts today and way back then, a lot of people have violated them. So, if we are going to practice tolerance, then maybe it is better that we DON't have rules.. I just fail to see why this site has to post these rules.. when:

NOBODY IS KEEPING IT CLEAN!!! Hello!! Why post up rules at all when you are just going to tolerate people who cuss and pretend to sprinkle it with candy by censoring it with a lot of asteriks??? In my good eyes, it is still OBVIOUS that those little stars being placed instead of the whole cuss word being spelled out are CUSS words and VULGAR language whether it is being replaced by asteriks. So, if you are just going to allow that and if you are going to tolerate that, then what good are those rules anyway??? Besides, if i was the creator of this sire, i wouldn't tolerate bad language around here. Here is another point: Why do we shut children's ears to any cuss word being said when almost everyone around here cusses???? If you help children not to say any curse word, start by NOT saying it in public, in this site or anywhere you go. Also, i would like to state the sentence that they used "Keep it Clean" Since when did this site became clean anyway??? To me, it does have a lotof garbage.. people killing themselves, killing kids, using cuss words, drugs... whatever. If this site is just going to tolerate that kind of lifestyle or for that matter, the belief that all opinions should be welcomed and shared, then this world is going to pieces. Oh, by the way, Tolerance is GOOD but TOO MUCH of it isn't good anymore. |

can you just be calm Joey??? hey, i was even BANNED when i try to spread goodwill around here... and even though i wasn't THE ONLY ONE WHO INSULTED SOMEBODY HERE, i sure did get banned. Ahhh, the rules of play, if YouthNOISE were to enforce them on me, would have to regulate all of the boards and all of the users, because I can guarantee you, this garbage about "tolerance" obviously wouldn't cover anti-Christian boards and threads.
In other words, what bluedemocrat and freemarketlover have said, and really mean, is that if it's not politically correct, it shouldn't be allowed.
They would make great college administrators, able to silence the speech and control the thought of anyone and everyone who disagrees.
If YouthNOISE wants to kick me off for violating the rules, go right ahead. There will be 10 new NOISEmakers in response JUST to back me up. I guarantee that. I guarantee you I will make an example out of every person who tries to silence the politically incorrect speech of anyone on the Internet.
Remember, if you want to play by the "tolerance" rules, let's play...and I believe YN has been more than courteous and generous with their rules, because one point of clarification I do need to single freemarket (as in, free market of ideas? pssh) and bluedemocrat out for is this:

Those who are offended by what I have to say, or have said, are not true defenders of tolerance...because tolerance means tolerating various opinions. Never said you had to agree with me (like I don't have to agree with gay lifestyle choices), but you should tolerate it.

My real hope is that joey would choose to not hurt people. as ablack person, his blatent characterizations regarding black people as loud, poor oraters, funny sounding people who consume vast amounts of fried chicken and watermelon are quite insulting and hurtful. The thought that when I walk down the street people won't see a Princeton edjucated, clear spoken person who speaks French, Russian and spends considerable time abroad. He just sees a quote:

OK once again for the ignorants---Joey should not be put in jail. Racism is not and should not be illegal, but on youthNOISE it is prohibited by the "rules of play." Let me now quote the "rules of play" for all of you who are unfamiliar with the parts that prohibit Joey's racism: In "Rule 2" quote:

Joey has not posted an avatar that is racist, but he has gone against the spirit of this rule. These rules should be enforced or thrown out. Everyone else has to follow them, why not Joey.
