why does youthnoise have to put asterisks over "swear" words? We all know what word lies under the lil stars so why bother? It just gets in the way and takes away the enthusiasum that was put into the post...

I don't think we can really blame YouthNoise, simply because they would get frowned upon by the commumity at large for allowing such words on an allegedly wholesome teenage site. However, I am fully against pointless censorship, and this is censorship at its most pointless. So, let's all get to work on making realistic, well-placed curse words a socially acceptable thing. It'll be tough, but I think we can do it. **** yeah.

I've been meaning to post something like this. Teenagers cuss. This is a teen site (unless I'm mislead in that respect). If this site wants to prepare us for the real world, what better way? The world isn't going to censor itself for us, you know. "shielding" us from it this way is just going to make us hit the wall harder when we grow up.

Actually, sometimes it's hard to tell. ******* and ******* have the same amount of letters, as does ****, ****, ****, ****, and others. That's the most annoying thing to me. It should leave the first letter of the word or something, so we have SOME idea.
What if what you think is great, really is great, but it's not as great as something greater?
