I don't see whats wrong with it. I like the layout, especially the orange. I don't think YN would be the same without it.

How soon could you get entires?

At this point, there isn't anything specific in mind for the e-card and poster designs and text. Some would likely be (1) issue-based and relevant to site content (AIDS, abortion, politics, eating disorders, child abuse, etc.) so you could send someone a link to an article you think s/he should read and/or an activity s/he should take part in, (2) some might just be jokey, and (3) others may feature notable quotes from the boards. Ultimately, it will depend on who gets involved and contributes their writing and/or design talents to the project!

I think that is a really good Idea for the YN e-cards. I would definately use them. What type of look and sayings are you looking for, for them? I think that there are many creatve NMers here that would be good at designing them. I'm not currently in school but I would hang posters up around local libaries and other such places.

I hope that the web change isn't too different. I like the way the boards are set up and easy to read and access.

As it happens, we have recently begun making plans for a new YN site look and information architecture - and would love to get everyone's suggestions and input! We are in the very early stage of our planning process, so the more info and suggestions you give us now - the better.

We've also been discussing e-card design and poster design. We'd need assistance with copywriting (fun, witty, edgy, catchy, compelling) and graphic design. Anyone have an interest in helping w/those? What do you think of YN e-cards? If they were really fun and cool, and easy to use, would you send them to your friends? Do you think you'd put YN posters up in your school?
