please keep the posting order the way it is, so the newest post will be on the last page. It took me awhile to YNs post order when I first got here because all other forums are newest post = last page. Just get used to it... give it 2 weeks and youll see its much better.


oh yeah, topic lead is very stupid, why dont you just have a rollover preview box. So when you roll over the post subject it'll show the first sentence of the post.

I don't like the order. For debating it is a lot better to see the most recent posts first.

I agree with strangelove. I really like it this way. I have dial-up. *** slow dial-up, and I really really really can't spend ten minutes trying to post one thing because I have to click a million links a million times. It's just ridiculous, really. Just keep it the way it was. PLEASE??????????

I was a member to two other forums, forums might I add, that had it the normal way. I quit them soon after I joined cause I was spending way too much time on them clicking a million links. Yes, this site is so convenient.

I like it with the newest on top. Please change it back. I'd like it if you got rid of all this new confangled crap, but if you only do one thing, have the newest posts on top.

It doesnt for me. I have to click to go all the way back and half the time, it freezes. And if you're debating, its going to take forever to go back and look for the other posts. I like the old posting way better.

I'm an active member of several different forums and this one is freaking convienent. You open up a topic and see exactly what's being talked about. Not what's being talked about back in December of 2003.

I like it better Youthnoise's way. When you go to a board, you can see right away what it's about. If it's a board you regularly visit, you can see the newest posts right there without having to go all the way to the end.

Just because "all the other forums" do something doens't mean Youthnoise should.

For the purposes of debate I love having the newest posts first. It keeps me from having to click to new pages or scroll. It's actually a more efficient way of doing things, the vast majority of times you're not going to read the whole thread. It's not much better.

As for the topic lead, I say just trash it or make it optional.
