I was listed on the top of the "Roll Call" list for the longest time, and I'm not sure exactly how you get nominated or whatever for that, but in a way, it advertised my libertarian/fiscal conservative views even more. Well, who do YOU guys think is the biggest NOISEmaker on here? It could fall in any category; the person who posts the most, the person who ticks off the most, the person who is the most "intolerant," "selfish," basically the person (guy or girl) who creates the most "buzz." I hate to be self-promoting, but I'm going to nominate myself for this one; much of the topics I have written about have stirred a big pot of controversy, and as a reporter, I thrive on controversy

sorry 2 burst your bubble joey, but the roll call list is just a list of the last 10 people who have logged in, so when u see it right after u log in your always somewhere near the top.

Haha, I think it is popularity... especially if based on the number of posts and you're popular if you make the most buzz... so... lol

I don't think it was a popularity contest but ask Joey. He is the one who started all this. I was here since this thread was first made (sadly), lots of people were here and still are here. To me, it was just a place to nominate people for certain things like who is the most tolerate, you know things like that. I guess it was something to pass up the time. However, over the pass few mouths this thread has become so many other things then what it was to begin with. So now I don't know what it is.
Bye n Have a nice day

I think Austin really just doesn't know and is wondering what is actually going on.
I mean, I won't blame her, I'm lost myself.

quote: I don't want a government the U.S. foreign policy "experts" propped up, funded, created, etc. Liberia is such an example. I don't know where you get me wanting a 24-hour-a-day civil war government from, but okay
No Joey, the 24-hour-a-day civil war is what happens when Libertarian principals are inacted. You are all for maximizing individual rights and minimizing state control are you not Joey? What it comes down to is Libertarian ideals put to much faith in individuals. You cant just trust everyone to get along.

quote: If so, I apologize, because obviously you can't be a commie and a libertarian at the same time
That would be correct. And no need to apologize for calling me a communist. You only did so once, if I can recall correctly, which is why I remember it.

quote: That place is the closest in the world to having the type of government you want
Liberia? You mean Siberia, only hotter? No, that's not the type of government I "want." My model form of government sits right where I live, thank you very much. I don't want a government the U.S. foreign policy "experts" propped up, funded, created, etc. Liberia is such an example. I don't know where you get me wanting a 24-hour-a-day civil war government from, but okay... Gemini, I am a Libertarian and I'm also a staunch Republican - not in the social conservative sense (look at private Christians schools - eek). I'm very Libertarian, but just am a Christian also (Christian first, Lib. second). Anyway, you're not a Communist if I disagree with you about how many marbles fit in a jar or whatever - I could care less about that, honestly. And I have noticed that you agree with me almost 100 percent on economic issues. I'm more conservative when it comes to gay adoption and stuff, but you and me see eye-to-eye - I've not called YOU a communist have I? If so, I apologize, because obviously you can't be a commie and a libertarian at the same time. Anyway, I think I won this "race." Shameless self-promotion? Eh, that's a Libertarian for ya.
