I'd volunteer to write a new guide, but only if I can be sarcastic and condescending. It'll make sure only the truly tough get in. Just kidding. But I would be willing to help write a new, user-friendly new user guide if needed.

I had no idea it existed... They need to add spell check to the guide.

We have a new users guide!!!??? O_O oh now I see it *reviews* okay it should have a page in there entitled "wisdom for fresh meat er...new posters" which will contain items like: -Lurk and Learn -Think before you post -Thread Necromancy is not cool -go to the newbie adoption page and so forth

I think that is a good idea. I actually never read the new user's guide untill I was applying to be a mod.
