I know YN has always forbode posting self-pics if you're under 18 years of age, but that still doesn't explain why we were allowed to for so long. We got to taste the sweet, sweet honey of pic posting just to have it yanked away from us. That's just cruel. They do that in a website called www.takingitglobal.org, which is like an international version of YN. You can upload as many pics of you as you want. It's a really great idea. It's kinda sick to view YNers as their avatars...

Yes. Can't the mods give us a straight answer as to why it was taken away? And why we can't post personal pictures? Seriously. If yn gave us a good reason, I'd probably be fine with it (and none of that stalker bull ****). This ignoring is getting on my nerves.

The actual original post your pic not the new one that DWM made, it's still here? sweet. on a different note, why do you have to be 18 to have control over your own picture? we end up putting it up on xanga, live journal, and live space anyway what makes YN so different? it's the same internet. was anyone actually complaining that we were putting up our pictures and even if there was, how many complaints could there have possibly been? compared to the hundreds of people that want to put up their picture. what do you say to that, moderators?

It's still here, you just have to be 18 or older to actually post your pic. Since I am 18 I don't have much reason to protest and would sound like a creep if I lobbied for younger people to be able to. So on that note I'll just leave.
