i dont get the whole point..pakistan wants the peace process unaltered and they still dont crack down on terrorist..mushraff says very strongly that this incident shouldnt affect the peace process..but then again isnt there a limit to tolerance...when will u put a full stop to this?? when will mushraff stop playing a 2 sided game? why cant the world just open its eyes up ? enough is enough.....
nothing ever changes in kashmir..i mean what have years of bloodhsed and violence done to change anything...either side is very stubborn and then again its generations fighting for a bloddy piece of land..its seriously so sad......

I think the point is that Musharraf can't simply take away the relative tribal independence in the NWF etc where these Jihadi's reside by attacking the tribes hiding those responsible for the bombings in Kashmir and elsewhere. For one thing,a large widescale and meaningful incursion into the tribal belts in the west of Pakistan would not be favoured by the Pakistani army, where there is considerable support for the Jihadi's and such an attack,if backed by the army and intelligence services, would be extremely bloody.Maybe more henious is the belief that the relative peace in Kashmir won't last and that the Jihadi's could again be used against the Indian regular army.

It depends on who is responsible really.More then likely, the Jihadi-Salafist groups near the Afghani border in Pakistan that basically have free reign under Musharraf will be responsible, but retribution by India wouldn't help the peace process.

Yes they should. India needs to stand up and be the leader here. Pakistan isn't going to do it.
