this is a repost but anyway here ya go" The Iraqis reportedly are getting tired of American Occupation in their new found nation but that's only a portion of of Iraq. the Kurds in the north of Iraq love America and truly see us as liberators hell they want us to build bases there (kurdistan) as one Kurdish minister put it "I do not ask America to build bases in Kurdistan, I demand it" so why aren't we there? simple politics. If we build bases their Muslims will be ticked cause it's the Kurds and they hate them, Iran will hate us cause we'll have bases next door and Turkey'll be ticked cause their Kurds are rebelling. Still building bases in Kurdistan could be a good exit strategy just because we'd have bases out of the way of the Sunni and Shiite Muslims and still be able to quick deploy forces to the majority of Iraq. comments?
