Police officials say an 11-year-old boy is recovering Friday after he was attacked by a pit bull on Lincoln Road in Kennelon. According to authorities, the pit bull mix tore through a chain link fence and attacked after seeing the boy and his two dogs nearby. A UPS employee passing by the scene witnessed the incident and quickly called 911. Police officers arrived shortly thereafter and separated the dog from the boy using a nightstick. Investigators believe the actions of the UPS man could have saved the boy’s life. Animal control officers say the pit bull was most likely trying to attack the other dogs when the boy got in the way. The victim is being treated for cuts and shock. Officers at animal control say they see no reason to put the pit bull down. It appears one of the boy’s dogs that was attacked may not survive. DAMN WHAT AN EVIL DOG!!!!!!

Actually they are only agressive when trained to be or abused. Like my poodle is agressive. That's just because she's a little *****. Both ways.

Damn that's scary. But what's sad is that there's this stereotype against Pitbulls and so some loving and sweet pitbulls that are in rescue shelters and pounds don't get adopted.
That's Bonanabizlry to you, mister.

Not necesarily. My father has attack dogs and trains them as a hobby and sometimes the younger untrained ones attack and no one orders them to. The breed of dog they are is agressive.

So, the point of this thread is what? Unless you are trying to give pits a bad name or discriminize against them, why would you post this as a thread? You have to understand this to understand any type of dog, including pits. What you have to understand is that dogs, no matter what the breed, are like kids. If they are placed in a good loving home, then that is how the dog will act. If they put into a home that is abusive and fights them and makes them into attack dogs, then yes that is how the dog will act. So don't try and give these kind of dogs a bad name.
