I’m not sure if this is already a topic, but I saw on the news how other countries who are aiding in the tsunami relief think the US is stingy. They say we should donate more because we have more population and is one of the biggest countries and we have more money. In a matter of fact, we donated twice as much money, but they still call us ‘stingy‘. But, when we have a disaster, like the Florida Hurricanes and 9/11, they don’t aid us. Do you think the US is ‘stingy’ and should donate more money?

The US is stingy when it comes to its own people.

The U.S isnt stingy..we're in major debt because we've loaned money to other countries and they haven't paid us back. Does that sound stingy to you?

Bushsupporter, I feel sorry for you...
First of all I did not write the chart, I found it on the Internet so it is not my problem if it you think it is poorly organized, and also, I had no problem understanding it so I don't see why you would...it's not that hard.
Second, I think there are MANY generous Americans, I do not doubt that, but you are an idiot if you think the US is the most generous country in the world. And the China statement, well you see, China is not as rich as the US, so they cannot donate as much money, it doesn't matter how many people they have.

But whatever, you can keep living in your little world where the US is the best and that's all there is to it...it's not my problem.

Does EVERYTHING have to be a fight with you?

Anyway, everyone is close minded in some way. Some are just more than others.

And sudha isnt an idiot, if that is what you're implying.
