i think that it shouldnt because we took the STAR testing in 7th grade and are going to have to do it again in high school as a freashman!! gosh dont you think that it is a horrible thing to do? i do my teacher says that we are used as "test monkeys". i think she is right!! we are used as test monkeys. Gosh!! (sigh)... thats all i have to say!

STAR testing is the standard state testing in California. I have to take it, and I think it could be worse. However, I think the people who write the test need to work together more closely with the teachers and those who write the textbooks. We took an Algebra I pretest and there were some things that I have yet to learn in my Algebra 2 course. What is STAR testing? In MA, we had to take MCAS in grades 4, 7,8, and 10. Now, I believe you have to take MCAS in grades 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, 10.
