Nice addition to your signature, Celtic.

If you could please be so kind as to not offend any of us catholics I would be much obliged thank you. (I cannot spell-and that has nothing to do with my IQ)

Considering my signature, I will assume you were talking to me.

I would dearly love to know how I have disrespected Catholics. Because I believe the whole Pope thing is just political status? Because I don't read the Bible? Mala suerte. I am allowed to agree or disagree with your faith and will do so.

I'm sorry If anything I did offended you. For future reference, what was offensive to you?

i heard that the new pope is conservative. i hope that he get to stride with the changing times... so that more people will follow him and so that he can make decisions that will better the world. he doesn't look as gentle as pope john paul ii but the looks aren't the important part. hope he continues to do the work that pope john paul ii has started.

My sister said the same thing the other day. Perhaps now we can explain what Anthony Hopkins does in his spare time...

In any case, I was looking at the new pope today at a picture, his eyes looks like Anthony Hopkin's in Silence of the Lambs. Creepy.

I can prove it to myself, and others can prove it to themselves, but no I can't prove it to you or anybody else on earth.

If you cannot prove it (to others, duh) then there's no way for a universal decision on whether or not it's true. I could have proved it to myself that it's not real. Then it doesn't matter because we wouldn't agree because we both "proved" it the opposite way as the other person.

Likely. I am not in a shiny mood, sorry if I *****ed.

I'm sorry, if I seemed rude, or that I thought that Christians are above all others on Earth.

I'm not telling you not to post your belief. That's fine. I don't care if you worship the god of keyboard dust and decide to make a shrine for it.

I don't believe in Heaven. I've already heard countless poems and none have converted me.

You think heaven exists and I think it's all fiction. It's that simple. I won't provide proof (or what I believe is proof) that it does not, so don't provide proof (or what you believe is proof) that it does.

I only posted that poem to show you why I believed in heaven and God, and was using Emily Dickinson's words to do so, as she is much more gifted with the English language than I.

Then don't try, and feel free to not disrespect my beliefs by posting a poem that you know (if you have any common sense) would go against what I believe in.
