They say former San Jose Mercury News investigative reporter Gary Webb died of an "apparent suicide."
Yeah, right.
Webb, who exposed the CIA's ties to the crack epidemic in the 80s (i.e., trafficking the drugs, selling them, then funding anti-communist forces in Nicaragua), was found dead recently in his apartment. He was 49, and authorities claim he killed himself.
Not true.

Gary Webb had guts to report the truth. And now he's dead.
