"I will do my best to do my duty to God and My Country"

This is what has the ACLU suing the Boy Scouts of America accusing the boys group as being a religous orginization and as such has ordered the pentagon to cease providing Fort Lauderdale as a site for the Scouts National Jamboree this accusation is complete bull**** as I was once a boy scout and ment members of every reliogn in Boy Scouts though it says to "God" in The Scout Oath it does not specify a God so really the oath is open to any one and the ACLU is as usually farting thru their teeth. What do you guys think?

I think it was said by Jack Lemmon in Newsroom(?) The "Mad as hell" part gives it much more *****.

Yep, that'd be it.

One of the Top 100 AMI movie quotes. Just a bit of trivia.

Thats right the Soros front that is falling apart is called "Americans Coming Together" or ACT.
The front group supposedly raised 4.5 million dollars for the defeat of Geroge Bush. The largest single grassroots organization the Democratic Party has ever seen. Too bad...

Haha, you're joking right? America needs liberals like a fat kid needs cake. Neoliberals (organizations like the ACLU, moveon.org, the Bar Assoc, and PETA) are crippling America from within and turning us into a carbon copy of the Weimer Republic.

Yep. These rats are the battering ram against the moral underpinnings that have held America together since the beginning. They should be shut down under federal RICO statutes.

I'm Life, and the Boy Scouts is an exceptional organization. In fact, I just got back from a week up at Many Point Scout Camp in Ponsford, Minnesota. Snakes like the Anti Christian Lawyers Union have become a fourth branch of government, changing any law they don't like. Like with all people, the Boy Scouts (and the people who support them) will only take only so much abuse, then we're going to start taking things into our own hands.

It's a private non-profit organization that recieves funds from private citizens, but also from other non-profit groups. To the best of my knowladge, the Scouts don't recieve any money directly from the government.

Which is a bunch of political crap. The Scouts in my area have done so much to improve the school and other public lands it's ridiculous. And the whole idea that it's a homophobic organization is exaggerated. I've had two gay kids go through my home troop, one became and Eagle Scout. On a practical level nobody really cares about it. I'm not sure what the motivation was for the whole court battle was, that's the National office that dealt with that. However I'd think it was probably a stand against extremely powerful and intolerant law bodies like the ACLU. They were still pretty ticked about the whole athiest thing.
