if there was no dogs on this earth i would die with out my pitt bull. And not all pitt bulls are bad, its the way they are treated and if the dog lockes on to you its no big deal! but let me tell u it hurts very bad. Anyways pitt bull are the love of my life i got like six of them and they are not mean pitt bulls. so what ever. if you abuse a pit then they are going to retaliate and be aggressive, i know many pit that have been around children and never once have i seen one of them go after that child, also if you treat a pit just like any other dog then it will act like one, and it won't attack anyone dumbasses. So for all those people who talk the shit about the pitt bulls can all go to HELL!So for all the people that dont have a pitt bull then you should buy one!And for the people that talk the shit about the pitts they need to shut the fuck up and stay out of the pitt bull lives!!!!!!!

Any animal can be aggressive, if it is treated negatively.
IN that respect, animals are much like human children. You treat them badly, they almost always end up "bad".

pitt bulls have a much higher tendency to be aggressive... why wouldn't they? it was their main purpose.

Also most pitts are vicious because their owners are usually drug dealers who want to use them to make money or for protection.

Ampmaster, with all due respect, there is such a thing as a period.

And I don't like pitt bulls, most likely because they never liked me.

I like these calm little moments before the storm.

PitBulls Have a vareity of temperments that without proper training can result in sad accidents like this other dogs that are stereotyped as viloent dogs are rottweilers, Dobermann Pincers and German Shepards and while it is true that some of these dogs do have temperent problems I have met some very lovable Rottwilers the dogs that do have attitude issues jus require more and specalized training which only a speaclist can give unfortunantlry for some people dogs with poor tempermants are przed and trained as guard dogs which can result in attacks but usually if a guy is coming over your back fence the dogs if trained as guard dogs are doing exactlly what they were trained for though that does not apply in this case.

Dude, I completely agree with you. I have a dog that's a pit bull mix and he is the biggest baby you will ever meet. Yes, he protects his territory but what dog doesn't do that? Complete props to you.

Freemarket, you do have a point. And I honestly did not mean to ruin your posting board. Don't worry, I will not continue to post links about pit bull abuse.

Please do not feel like you are unable to use your own board without being harrassed.

Unfortunatly, the only way to prove points of this nature are by posting horrific links.

Using my own words would not matter because then it is only a matter of opinion not hard cold facts.

Take care and please go back to enjoying your board.

Spam is always done to educate people on whatever the spammer is saying. Make your point by using logic and reason, not mindlessly posting links. Use your head if you can. I won't be checking this board again because you've ruined it. If you want us to listen to you, try thinking and talking for yourself.

Ok, I will be glad to stop. As long as I have made my point clear to others that it is humans that cause the pit bull problem not the dogs themselves.
The only way to stop problems is by eduation.
That is why these links are posted, Hopefully someone will sit down and read the links and learn by them!!!
They are posted not to harrass, but rather to educate people on this topic and to answer the question "Are pit bulls worth it".

"When it comes to Pit Bulls, the monster is often the two legged animal at the other end of the leash!
More often than not, those poor dogs are the VICTIMS of irresponsible and abusive ownership. Pit Bull dogs are bred, raised, and trained to be the way they are. Inside the dogs there is a good heart that only wants to please and love. Dogs do not understand the human definition of right and wrong. Blaming the animals for the current situation regarding dog attacks will NEVER resolve the problem!
It's time people stop closing their eyes to the source of the problem and start to face reality. The pain you see in the eyes of the dogs in this section IS the sad reality of too many Pit Bulls. Those dogs need our help, not our hate".
