This morning's shooting shooting at Virginia Tech University has been called the worst school shooting in U.S. history, leaving at least 31 dead. When I heard the news, I felt awful for the victims and their families and friends, but I didn't know if there was anything I could do to help.

I want to start this post as a way to communicate any messages or prayers for those affected by the shooting today. Please add a few words, and YouthNoise will collect all of the messages and send them to Virginia Tech from the YN community. Thank you.

To all the families of the victims that had to endure the pain and mental anguish my prayers are sent out to you. I feel like the police department and the college did not make a gfood enough effort to stop what was going on. Within the 2 hours that Cho was gone they could of had police, swat, and people from the college searching people to weed out the suspects. This is a terrible thing and has impacted my life. I mean it makes you appreciate life. You never know whathappens next in life so ive life to its fullest. I am sure that this incident has impacted this whole nation. IN my opion everyone in this country should see a shrink to be examined. LOve and Rip.

I would like to give my condolences to at the victims and families, friends and acquaintances of the victims.

I would like to give hope to those whose lives were devastated by this tragedy, especially to those who don't believe in prayer or a God.

One thing of losing my father. Losing someone close to you, is not only hard, but depressing.

I learned that the first step of accepting someone that passed, is forgiveness.

I know it will be hard trying to forgive the man who has done these horrific shootings, but it needs to be done on the road to acceptance.

If I could give you all a giant hug, and give my heart to you all affected, I really would.

I will pray for you all.

I pray for those who lost someone in that shooting. People dont realize the seriousness of these shootings and it seems like no one pays attention to what happens. They never do anything about it until it has happened to their school. Virginia Tech students and families, you are in my heart and prayers.

My prayers go out to all of the victims and their families at this very painful time. I'm also praying for the shooter's family. They are victims in this, too. They will have to live with this tragedy two fold. They lost their son and the heartbreaking aftermath of his actions. I pray that there won't be any hatred toward them and that there will be people who will reach out to comfort them as well as the other victims' families.

My heart goes to all the families and friends that lost their loved ones in this terrible incident.

I was shocked when I heard the news. I saw the news when they first said that only one person was dead and when I saw again there were 32 people dead. Right then, this would make the US history. I don't know how someone would do this. I can't believe the shooter purchased two guns legally technically illegally, because he lied about his

Do not let some lunatic let you live in fear and determine your future. I know VT rocks and you will move on with your heads held high. Hokies will not cow to some jerk with a grudge. If anyone can pull through this tough time, you can!!!
