beleive it or not this country was founded on god. and god should stay, here are some facts i found on the internet.

1. As you walk up the steps to the Capitol Building, which houses the Supreme Court, you can see the following:
Near the top of the building are a row of the world's "law givers". Each one is facing the middle. Inside the middle, facing forward, with a full frontal view, is Moses and the Ten Commandments!

2. As you enter the Supreme Court courtroom, the two huge oak doors have the Ten Commandments engraved on each lower portion of each door. As you sit inside the courtroom, you can see the wall right above where the Supreme Court judges sit a display of the Ten Commandments!

3.There are Bible verses etched in stone all over the Federal Buildings and Monuments in Washington, D.C.

James Madison, the fourth president, known as "The Father of Our Constitution" made the following statement "We have staked the whole of all our political institutions upon the capacity of mankind for self-government, upon the capacity of each and all of us to govern ourselves, to control ourselves, to sustain ourselves according to the Ten Commandments of God."

Patrick Henry, that patriot and Founding Father of our country said, "It cannot be emphasized too strongly or too often that this great nation was founded not by religionists but by Christians...not on religions but on the Gospel of Jesus Christ".

Every session of Congress begins with a prayer by a paid preacher...whose salary has been paid by the taxpayer since 1777.

Fifty-two of the 55 founders of the Constitution were members of the established orthodox churches in the colonies.

Thomas Jefferson worried that the Courts would overstep their authority and instead of interpreting the law would begin making law...an oligarchy...the rule of few over many...

The very first Supreme Court Justice, John Jay, said, "Americans should select and prefer Christians as their rulers."

we have rose to the greatest nation in the world, and that entire time we have retained our christian heritage. Why do you people want to change it?

QOH, what are you smoking? Whatever it is, I'd suggest that you stop.

Seeing that smoking killed my father, grandmother uncle and smoking pot got my brother and cousin in the hospital why would I even bother thinking about it?

And my other cousin has been in rehab since I was seven because he ODed and nearly killed himself. I won't see him for two more years.

And like you said, that was taken from a NASA website. NASA also said they had a video of an alien.

THE ALIEN LOOKED LIKE THE ONE FROM STAR WARS.
It also sounded like a dog barking. I found the video

What's the motive for faking out the whole world?

The thing with Europe. But they knew about the radiation belt and wouldn't try to go to the moon. THAT is the motivation.

Here, I'll even prove some major points of this hoax wrong.

I'll give more to prove it's fake.

NASA never answered why there was no blast crater and why the shadows showed there was more than one light source when the only light they had was the sun. The people who could have told died in freak accidents. According to the video, they were in one place at a certain time in the morning. They ran over a hill. Apparently three hours later, in a completely different place, they ran over the SAME HILL.

And some German guy got pictures from Area 51. The exact same crater was in Area 51 as there was on the moon.

That, my friend, is a conspiracy theory worthy of Joey Dauben...or the Weekly World News. Either way, I'm still laughing at you. "People will believe anything they want to be true." That's a quote from a good book I once read. Now perhaps all the sane people in the world are being duped, but I highly doubt that. What's the motive for faking out the whole world? What's the reasoning behind throwing billions of dollars into a space program if it was only a major hoax? Our government may be stupid, but it's not that stupid.

I'm more likely to believe that you are the one being punk'd. Do you have evidence that we never landed on the moon? Solid evidence? Evidence from somewhere other than a GeoCities site made by a bored kid in Alabama? Evidence from a reputable site or source? I'm inclined to think not. You are the victim of yet another hoax. There are many and this one, I'm sure, has tricked many people, including you, I'm sad to say.

Here, I'll even prove some major points of this hoax wrong.

Where are the stars?
Most photographers already know the answer: It's difficult to capture something very bright and something else very dim on the same piece of film -- typical emulsions don't have enough "dynamic range." Astronauts striding across the bright lunar soil in their sunlit spacesuits were literally dazzling. Setting a camera with the proper exposure for a glaring spacesuit would naturally render background stars too faint to see.

What about the waving flag?
Not every waving flag needs a breeze -- at least not in space. When astronauts were planting the flagpole they rotated it back and forth to better penetrate the lunar soil (anyone who's set a blunt tent-post will know how this works). So of course the flag waved! Unfurling a piece of rolled-up cloth with stored angular momentum will naturally result in waves and ripples -- no breeze required!

(all this taken from the NASA site.)

If you want to be proven wrong some more visit BadAstronomy.com and the Moon Hoax web page.

What crock! And I suppose Elvis told you this? I can't believe you. You say we can't go to the moon, didn't go to the moon, yet you purport the film to be from Area 51, which is even more mythical. I don't care if you hate America, but please, don't lie.

Why did so many people who could have told die in mysterious accidents? Where are the stars? The crater? Why can you speed up the film and have the astronauts appear to be running or driving as they would on Earth? What about the messed up shadows? Why can't NASA answer the questions?

If the only evidence we have that we honestly DID go to the moon is NASA's word and your faith in America, then how can you say we did?

And you'll hear in about a year:
'The space ship sent from Japan to take close up pictures of the moon has blown up.'

All the stuff was left up there. When Japan finds out, they'll either be killed or paid off.

Saying Atheists aren't patriots is a load of bull ****.

I'm Wiccan. I believe in a higher power.

I hate America. I've hated it since I realized we lie about stuff we can't do.

We can't go to the moon. We get some film from Area 51 say it's the moon.

We can't make people agree with us. We declare war or rename French Fries

I respect that many Americans are proud. They're allowed to be. But saying just because someone doesn't believe in a god doesn't mean they don't support their country and love it.

2. To be a patriot, you have to love your country, and it's principles. One of the Principles of America is God, but it can be twisted if your a stupid whining atheist.

Oh PLEASE, are we going to start this all over again?!? God is NOT a "principal of America", freedom of religion IS a principal of America. Need we say more? And please don't go into the FLM thing of "our founding fathers gave us the right to be unpatriotic".
quote:
You need to believe in God, or some form of Higher Power, because one of the reasons we fight so hard to keep our independence, is the right to practice your own religion freely.

No dear, we fight so hard to keep out independence so that we can practice our BELIEFES, higher power or not, freely. Atheism is a belief.
And by the way, enough with the "stupid whining atheists". Just because I believe in different things than you doesn't mean I'm stupid and whining. Oh the predudice.

One of the principles is, as you pointed out, freedom of religeon. Which means you can choose to not believe as well.

God is not one of the principles of AMERICA as a country. It is or at least SHOULD be seperate from the state because a President who makes all his decisions based on his faith can never do whats right for the country.

In conclusion, whether you believe in God or not has absolutely NOTHING to do with your patriotism.
