Okay so doing my usual rounds on icanhascheezburger and I find this add thingamaboob that says "Pamela Anderson sells car to raise money for PETA....that features leather seats!!" And I'm like wtf! So I check out the info on PETA http://blog.peta.org/archives/2008/06/pamela_anderson_8.php and it just says the usual. They praise her for how great and fabulos she is and mention how she is a true hero for animals everywhere! Well I go to the other site http://deceiver.com/2008/06/09/pam-andersons-leather-seats-to-benefit-peta/ that even has proof that the car has leather http://deceiver.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/pam-anderson-viper.jpg that is HIGHLIGHTED...three words "luxurious leather interior" then has the nerve to say "portion of the proceeds from the sale of this car will go to PETA" Umm yeahh last time i checked, PETA, I thought we were against leather?? What I find even MORE hilarious is that people on PETA are leaving comments like "I love you Pam your the best!" or "I have so much respect for you, your such a hero!" when the idiots don't even know that the car features luxury trim leather on gearknob, leather seat upholstery, and leather covered steering wheel. Sometimes I question how smart PETA and other vegetarians are. Anyways the whole situation really bugs me, so I just thought I should let you and other veggies out there know.
Oh my gosh there's a message in my cheerios, it says, OOOOOOO

Pamela Anderson is just mad because Jessica Simpson wore a shirt that says "Real Women Eat Meat". Or something. I don't particularly care.
The more you know, the less you don't know.

Peta is hypocritical.Needless to say, I don't like them and my respect for celebrities involved with PETA is lower than for if they weren't. PETA as an organization completely destroys and undermines the entire cause they are trying to fight for and I don't have a lot of respect for people who go to the extremes PETA has. And for random people out there who decide I don't understand animal rights: Just because you're a vegetarian does not mean that you have to love PETA. Where I live, PETA is not appreciated, and we even have annual awards for the best vegetarian menu in restaurants, as well as restaurants with a ton of options qualify for a special sticker.
