What is this crap about homosexuals are people and should be treated with respect, but...they should not be able to marry. That's great that you have you're own opinion but none of this stratling the fence crap. Pick a side. You can't think that people of a certain sexual idenity are humans, but then want them to be treated like second class citizens. We're not living in an Orwell novel thank god (All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others. George Orwell's Animal Farm. And while you're at it pick up 1984) Why stop somebody from loving. Since when did love hurt anybody? People think for once. Step out of your bubble and look at the world around you.

I am always happy when I find outher straight gay pride activists. It means the world really isn't going down in flames after all.

I myself hate that people automatically think that to support the gay community as much as I do you have to be gay. I mean, can't more people speak up about how they feel?

I do a lot of pro- gay/lesbian/bi art and it is all here: My Deviant Art Account ( Don't worry, nothing that isn't child friendly.Couple pictures only include kissing) You should check it out...I'm proud of my work.

Hello. I am also in the Performing Arts scene. I am a dancer, writer, actor, and just overall performer I guess. I have to deal with homosexual people everyday, personally, I do not accept the lifestyle, and I do not agree with the lifestyle. HOWEVER, I do not think that homosexuals should be made fun of and etc. because of what they choose to do. I don't think the hate crimes should happen and etc., yet I do not think Homosexuals should be able to get married. So, everyone is going to have their own opinion, this is mine. Gay marriage is wrong. Roll Eyes Gay people are still people.

Hi everyone. I do alot of theater and (naturally) I'm around alot of homosexuals. I have nothing against them, and I really think people should give all homosexuals a chance. They are humans too ya know! Homophobics are generally people who have never personally known a homosexual. Well, thats my thought on this subject! Have a nice day! :-)

It's sad that we live in a country and even in a world that doesn't embrace the love that can be shared between two people regardless of them being the same sex or not. I think that the people who are open with their sexuality; particularly those who are gay/lesbian/bisexual/transgender or even straight people; more power to them. I think that it just goes to show that they are comfortable with who they are so other people should be too. But that's just what I think.

I have not yet reached my goal, and I am not perfect. But Christ has taken hold of me. So I keep on running and struggling to take hold of the prize. My friends, I don't feel that I have already arrived. But I forget what is behind, and I struggle for wha

most are not secure with their sexuallity.

true that. often homophobia is more the fear of becoming homosexual rather than being afraid of gay people.

Amen, averyb!

Where I live, people still say things liek "How gay!" and "Your'e so *****". But when I speak up, they say that it no longer really is an insult to people that ARE gay -- that it is just a saying like "You're a dork" or something. Well, I'm insulted b/c it is USED as an insult.
