Died Sunday Night.
That is truly sad. No matter what anybody says about ABC bias or liberalism, he was a man everybody enjoyed to watch. In January he was diagnosed with lung cancer and given six months to live. He made it eight. RIP.

The passing of Peter Jennings was a huge loss for broadcast news and for the world. He was one of the best. He died of lung cancer and yes, he smoked. I think that Americans need to cut down on the smoking. It is gross and bad for everyone's health.

Peter Jennings, the last great anchorman. May he find his way to that great big newsdesk in the sky...

Why should I care?

With this philsoophy why care about anything? I mean even if you did know somebody who died, you didn't die right? So why care? You care simply because you do know me. You know me as mac. Is that not enough of a relationship to warrant some sort of caring? Are we not all neighbors in the universal sense of the word.

I am saddened by his death, I think Jennings was a great anchor, he was trustworthy and always talked to kids whenever they asked a question.

Truly sad, but it does, ironically, mirror the decline of mainstream media.

Neither do I but that doesn't mean I don't care. If I said all my family died would you care? You don't know them. You've never met them, yet I hoped you would care.

His death saddens me, even though I watched Brokaw. Yet another reason why people should not smoke.

I may not have liked him as far as his beliefs went, but i really did feel sad. It wwas the end of an icon; one of the first TV News Anchors. I learned alot about him that i didnt know.

I was in the middle of watching Extreme Makeover: Home Edition when they decided to do a tribute to him. That made me mad.
