It seems kind of morbid that I'm always the one to post topics about people dying... Anyways, Jerry Falwell, the fundamentalist Christian minister and founder of Liberty University (a Christian university which somehow produced most of the lawyers in our government) died today at age 73. I was kind of amazed, actually. It always seems like fundamentalist televangelists like Falwell never die. They just keep on coming back to rant about some immoral activity. Anyways, as much as I may have disliked the man, I can't really say anything ill about him. Meh.

Oh man. It looks like for reasons of tastefulness, poor Pat Robertson is going to have to be the victim in all of my Christian fundie nutcase jokes now. Anyway, Falwell might be dead, but his constituency is alive and healthy. I would have rather he'd lost his power and not his life than the other way around...
And then, as the books were told, Fina replied: "A can of worms, my dear friend? What has this to do with reason?"

Good, one less fundamentalist with political influence.
