I don't think fish have as much of a problem; they don't have the opportunity to have :looks around suspiciously: [whisper] sexual intercourse [/whisper]. Females plop out a bunch of eggs then the males simply, quite literally, spread their seed over the eggs.

Kids dont know what gay is. its just adults wanting to make a fuss about something. If spongebob is gay so is my stuffed animal. hell, why not my fish?

this spongebob thing is utter stupidity. the same people who stated spongebob as gay said that the guy who wrote the song "We Are Family" was sending homosexual/inapropriate(sp?) messages to children. lol.

But, my family and I decided to rent the Spongebob movie, and have decided it's all a HUGE JOKE on the people who accuse him of being gay. Patrick ,the starfish, comes out at the end, dancing in fishnets and a Madonna like bra over Spongebob. The two tears they shed before they seemingly die drip down and form a heart. They ride the butt of this famous male model and accidently poke a needle or something into his butt when trying to evade the villain of the story.

As you can see, the creators of Spongebob may very well be laughing their heads off as the overly-Christian parents accuse their poor sponge. Maybe this is all just a big joke for them. I can't help but laughing myself.

I have no idea. But, I mean, where I live parents would be more than likely to ban Spongebob from their homes if it were true that he were a gay icon.

What if he was? What if his creators had intended for him to be a little bit fruity to open up kids' minds at an early age? What would your opinion be? Would you think the creators should or shouldn't have done this? Would you completely hate Spongebob and get rid of your stuffed one if he was? Would you ban your baby cousin from watching the show?

I can't believe this thread is still around. Is there anyone who actaully disagrees with FML? I say let this thread die--too much roundabout discussion.

My brothers and I were sitting down last night to watch the Simpsons like we do most nights, when a viewer discretion advisory came on. I repeat, and this is what it said "The following program shows references to same-sex marriage. Parental Discretion is advised." I personally thought it was hilarious. We ended up watching it, though it wasn't that great. I left and went online after about 10 minutes. Anyone else see it? I'm interested in hearing others' opinions on the show.

I don't like "Disney Gay Day" but it's all marketing. There are so many gay people in coastal Florida that not having a gay marketing ploy there would be like not marketing to chinese people in beijing. Disney is a corporation thats just trying to make money. I think thats as American as apple pie.
